Your newborn shoot takes place in the comfort of your own home allowing everyone to feel relaxed. You don’t have to pack up half your house to get to a studio on time and you have everything you need around you. We work at your baby’s pace. We take breaks whenever they are needed: for feeding, for changing and just for cuddles.
frequently asked QUESTIONS

WHERE IS THE SHOOT HELD?

My preferred style of photography is lifestyle, hence I have no studio. I take relaxed, natural photos of your baby and family in the comfort of your own home.

HOW DO I PREPARE MY BABY/FAMILY FOR THE SHOOT?

I speak with you before the shoot and give you lots of tips and tricks on how to prepare, leaving nothing to chance. I like to hand hold the whole way from the initial call to the delivery of your products.

WHAT IF MY BABY DOESN'T SETTLE?

We always work at the baby’s pace so if more cuddles or feeds are needed then that’s fine. If they are not settled at the start of the shoot, then we begin with family shots where the baby is normally happier to be held and then tends to drop off and this is when we can do the individual shots.

HOW LONG DOES THE SHOOT TAKE?

We work at your precious one’s pace with feeding and cuddle breaks, so normally the whole experience lasts approximately 3 hours.

WHERE IN THE HOUSE DO YOU WORK?

I normally use a bedroom for part of the shoot so we may need to clear a few things (please don’t worry about this as we can do it when we choose the room) and plain white bedding makes the perfect backdrop.
